Living and moving through this country has shown me where I’d love to live. It has also indicated where I wouldn’t want to live.

There’s something about a country road winding it’s way to my oasis of a house.

The one with a wrap around porch on a ranch.  Sprawling ranch with windows looking out in every direction. Letting in the natural light at all hours of the day. Light weight curtains swaying in the breeze coming through the open windows. Inside, the walls are simply decorated, with a neutral wall color. The furniture is warm and inviting, creating an atmosphere of warmth and relaxation. There would be a constant smell of baking breads and sweet treats, permeating the air.

Surrounding that home, are trees on end with mountains encircling the homestead. Children running and exploring inside and out.

My dream home is the safe place where we can relax, learn, and connect.

Oh, Country roads take me home, to the place where I belong!
