a mom’s review on Earthley Mineral Deodorant

I have searched and searched for a good, natural odor killing deodorant since I was in middle school. Since I began using deodorant, I have always tried to use aluminum free. For the longest time I used Arm and Hammer naturals, but I developed a sensitivity to that brand. Since then, I have tried several options.

I have tried Dove 0% (aluminum free), Every Man Jack, Schmidts, Toms natural deodorant. Dove worked well, but I still wanted to find something that worked and was more natural.

Earthley carries a line of body care products that I have started using. I use their tooth powder and their mineral deodorant.

I love their chocolate rose scent. I smell mostly the chocolate scent, but there is a hint of rose as the day goes on.

I have used this for over a month now, and I think I can have an honest review. So, here it goes.

Application: 10/10

• Unlike other natural deodorants this is smooth like butter. I use the one with beeswax and it creates a smooth, non-irritated application! There is not a gritty residue like some that I have tried

Long Lasting: 4/10

• You will most likely have to apply the deodorant at least 2x a day. This is unless you are wearing 100% cotton clothing.
• I have noticed that when I use my other Earthley products, the coverage seems to be longer. This includes products like the Postpartum Balance and the gut health.

Scent: 6/10

• At first application, the scent is great. Sadly, with most natural deodorant the scent starts to change into more of a sour smell. After another application, the smell is musky and not as fresh.

Overall: 7.5/10

• I really like this product. I have to reapply it one or two times. However, it lasts longer than other brands I have used. It could be lasting longer too, because I am detoxing those pours from all the synthetic deodorants I have used in the past.
• I love the fact that I can read and recognize the ingredient on the label. Most of all I love that I do not react to it.
• With my history of reacting to deodorants I have not had that at all with Earthley’s. For that reason alone, I would recommend it.
