The summer is on full blast where we live. Highs of 90, warm mornings scorching afternoons.
For rambunctious boys it does not mean joy and fueling that little boy heart. Or maybe that is mama who does not want to be in the heat. That is more likely.
Boys need to be outside, and they need to fuel that hyper and adventurous side. But what do you do on the days where it is too hot to be outside?
Cool them off of course!
A couple years ago a friend introduced me to reusable water balloons. You may be thinking – reusable water balloons? How do you reuse burst water balloons?
With an ingenious invention – Resealable water balls (balloons)
This year I decided to make this much needed addition to our water toy collection.
You fill a bucket full of water. You put the reusable water balloons in the bucket OPEN and then as they close by themselves around water and successfully filling themselves up!
Once they are filled you let them fly! The boys have loved filling them up and squishing the closed. This causes the water to spray out in a stream!
Added to letting one use the hose and one using the balloons it is an all-out battle! Just what little boys need in hot summer days!
