The day started out with a whine, then escalated to tears, then fighting. That was all before 9 o’clock.  I felt completely drained, exhausted, and irritable.

is today a typical Monday for you? Tired from the weekend, restless in your spirit, not wanted to go to work?

That was me by 10 o’clock.

Having finally eaten my breakfast, I took my kids outside and sat on our bench as they played. I sat and read Psalms 92 and peace filled my soul. I sat back and my head began to clear as the truth of who God is permeated me.

He is from everlasting to everlasting. In the grand scheme of things, He is ALWAYS in control. No matter the whining, the fighting, the exhaustion – God’s works always outshine the darkest moments.

Resting in that truth can redirect your entire trajectory of your day.
