Part 1 – Quiet time

Noise ensues.

Fights break out.

Toddlers crying.

The newborn wakes up and needs to be fed.

Blood pressure spikes.

All before 9 in the morning.

Am I the only one who wishes for a break in the day?

I have discovered that in the morning, before the day’s mayhem, it is crucial to get at least an hour to myself.

In that hour, I have my coffee and my quiet time in God’s Word. The days that I do not have time in my Bible, I am quick-tempered and irritable. If I have more time in the morning, I sometimes work out and shower. But those things I can wait on. My Bible time and coffee are things that MUST happen for my day to feel calm and smooth.

I use things like

  1. First 5 app
  2. Bible App devotionals
  3. Book Studies
  4. Word Studies
  5. Bible Studies

There are so many Bible study tools out there. Moody Publishers, Lifeway, and Revive Our Hearts are just to name a few!

Take some time this week and get up earlier than your kiddos or before you have to go to work to read God’s Word and spend some time with your Creator! It will be time best spent!
