What an incredible man I married! He saw a need and filled it! My ladle (cheap plastic) was decapitated in a “sword” fight between him and the boys.

As I write this, I am hit with how God works! He fills a need that our souls have completely. We are broken because of sin. He comes and not just fixes the broken pieces but makes us completely new!

I am reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians, which says this;

“ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

I am in awe of the Gospel of Jesus. And my ladle will be a continual and needed reminder of all that Jesus has done for me.

I was broken, sinful, separated from my Creator. But because of One Man, I am forgiven when I confess my sins and accept Him as the Lord of my life. Because of Jesus Christ, I am no longer lost and broken. I am whole and made new!
