Time seems to evaporate for me these days. Mama of 5. A toddler, a newborn, a three almost four year old, 5 year old and a 6 year old and homeschooling…this mama needs a few helpful hacks to get through a school day.
Here is one I use daily!
My Rise and Shine folders.
These are customizable folders for each of my older kids. They have practice sheets for their current lessons, a calendar page, and our monthly verse we are working on memorizing.
It not only gives the children a warm-up before we do school, but it also gives me peace and quiet while I am making breakfast and taking care of the toddler or baby.
I will take time Sunday night to get the Monday and Tuesday sheets customized and printed. I will put the new sheets in the folders and have them ready to go on the table for the next morning. This morning, without being prompted, my 5-year-old went right up to his folder and started to work on it!
All you need is refillable folders with sleeve protectors, a dry-erase marker (washable markers don’t show up as well), and activity sheets.
